Target Audience

We spent a while looking into target audiences, and I have to admit that I had no idea how much these magazines research the public and how much their content is based off their reader's demographics, it's a lot more important that I thought it was.

I want to make a metal magazine cover, and the main audience for metal music is male (by a very small amount) and around the ages of 18 - 28. The target audience for my magazine should reflect this, so my target reader is this:

Gender: male or female 

Age: around 22 years old

Interested in: music, mainly metal. Spends their spare time looking up and listening to new bands and goes to concerts as often as possible.
